GI Symptoms Evaluation

SURGERY  •  ENDOSCOPIC THERAPY  •  GI SYMPTOMS EVALUATION

Workup for:

(a) Abdominal pain – acute or chronic

(b) Bloatedness / indigestion / heatburn / reflux / vomiting

(c) Dysphagia (difficulty in swallowing) or odynophagia (pain on swallowing)

(d) Unexplained weight loss / loss of appetite

(e) Constipation or changes in stools (colour / consistency)

(f) Abdominal swelling / distension

(g) Elevated tumour markers : CA 19.9, CEA, AFP or CA 125

(e) Accidental swallowing of fishbones or dentures
