(a) Bile duct stones/strictures

  • Endoscopic extraction of bile duct stones (ERCP)
  • Endoscopic stenting for bile duct strictures

 (b) Strictures (narrowing) of Oesophagus, pylorus, duodenum

  • Pyloric or duodenal stenting

(c) Bleeding ulcers or vascular lesions

  • Gastroscopic haemostasis for bleeding ulcers / vascular lesions

(d) Polyps

  • Endoscopic removal of polyps in stomach, duodenum or colon

(e) Nutritional needs

  • Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy PEG

(f) Foreign bodies removal

  • Endoscopic retrieval of objections in bowels e.g. swallowed dentures
